Certification and Authenticity
Rita Carrega’s jewels are made in 925 Silver, 925 Silver Gold Plated 24K, or 19.2k Gold.
They are certified by the Contrastaria of INCM (Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda) that performs verification of the legal touch, that is, permilation of precious metal contained in an alloy, and the application of the contrast next to the manufacturer's responsibility stamp or equivalent. The application of the stamps is only compulsory for Jewels weighing more than 2 grams.

In addition to the online store, the jewels can be seen and purchased at the studio of the author at Praça Afrânio Peixoto 2B in Lisbon, where they can be inspected by the competent authorities for this purpose.

Quality certificate
All pieces are made through manual and traditional processes and are built artistically in the author's workshop. In this way, there may be some small differences between the final piece that you will receive and the one that illustrates the photograph of the online store. We appreciate your understanding, after all, it is manual work.

The jewelry brand Rita Carrega.Joalharia is a national trademark registered at the INPI (Instituto Nacional de Propriedade Industrial).
All the jewels are created, designed, and executed by the author Rita Carrega.
Rita Carrega.Joalharia reserves the copyright and other proprietary rights concerning the products and contents presented on this platform. In this way, any copy, transfer, or use of any content of this website without the prior contact and consent of Rita Carrega is not allowed.
Prices
We reserve the right to change the price of the articles or services and conditions of your online store or to make promotional campaigns at any time. The prices of Rita Carrega.Joalharia from the online store are guided by the retail price (RRP) that the author Rita Carrega recommends. It may not correspond to the RRP of other stores that sell Rita Carrega.Joalharia articles, this difference is beyond our control and depends on the price policies of each commercial space.
Orders / Purchases
When placing an order, the customer agrees and accepts the general conditions of sale, prices, and descriptions of the articles requested.
Online purchases can only be made to EU member states for practical reasons and legal procedures. However, you can place an order to any part of the world by sending us an email to joalharia@ritacarrega.com, indicating the references of the products you wish to acquire and your intention to purchase. We will respond as soon as possible indicating the next payment and shipping steps.
Stock
We try to have all the pieces displayed on the online store available for fast delivery, 5-7 business days, as indicated in our online store. However, being a small team working on a small-scale production, with manual processes, there may be times of lower stock and shipping delays. If the item you are ordering does not exist in stock and some delay in production is expected, you will receive a notification immediately indicating the delay and presenting a new delivery date. We will always be available to solve questions and expedite the entire order process.
Payments
Payments can be made via PayPal or credit card.
Shipping
All shipments, national and international, will be made via CTT - Correios de Portugal, S.A. - under the registered mail form. The registered mail has an associated registration number and can be followed on the CTT website - HERE – by entering the order registration number. The order status will then be displayed.
In Portuguese territory (Mainland and Islands) the registered mail usually takes 1 working day to reach the destination, under normal conditions. In international territory, it takes 4/5 working days, under normal conditions.
The shipping costs for national territory (Mainland and Islands) are €5. For international shipping for the European Union, the costs are €10.
National territory:
The order is delivered to the indicated address. If there’s no one to receive it, it will be deposited at the nearest Post Office. You should receive a warning from CTT communicating this situation and informing you of the withdrawal deadline. You can collect the order with the CTT notice and your Identification Card.
If the order is not reclaimed within the indicated deadline, it will be returned to Rita Carrega.Joalharia, the new shipment will only be made after a new payment of shipping costs.
International territory inside and outside the EU:
International shipping to countries outside the European Union is also registered with CTT (in Portugal) and, after arrival in the country of destination, by the official national postal company of the country. We only guarantee the tracking possibility via CTT while in Portugal. We are not aware of the functioning of other companies in other countries. You can follow the shipment while in Portugal through the link: HERE - by entering the order registration number. The order status will then be displayed.
Please note that international orders for countries outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties or import taxes upon entry to the country of destination. We are not aware or responsible for the value of these fees, as they differ from country to country. You should contact the authorities in your country for more information.
Registered mail is not mail with insurance. If you wish to insure your order, please email us at joalharia@ritacarrega.com. The insurance costs will be paid by the customer and will be indicated by us after consulting the possibilities. After sending the article Rita Carrega.Joalharia is not responsible for the loss of the order.
Warranty
According to Portuguese law, all articles have 2 years warranty, from the date that the purchase invoice is issued. However, Rita Carrega.Joalharia excludes any liability for damages to articles derived from lack of precaution and from improper and neglected use.
Exchanges & Returns
The client can only exchange pieces that belong to a certain collection. The exchange is only allowed for an item of equal or greater value. In the latter case, the customer has to pay the difference in the cost of the piece.
To do so, you should contact the studio through the email joalharia@ritacarrega.com who will respond with the following procedures.
The exchanges are only approved when they are unused parts, inside the respective box and with the corresponding purchase invoice.
We do not accept returns or exchanges of customized pieces that were made according to customer specifications.
Repairs
For any questions about repairs and/or maintenance of Rita Carrega jewels; you should contact and expose the problem.
